DECEMBER 2004
Hello
We would like to greet you with the first issue of our online newsletter by wishing you all a very Happy Holiday Season. A common theme for this time of year is certainly gratitude and we consider ourselves extremely grateful for the families who have shared the meaningful experience of the birth of their child with us. We are blessed to have served you.
The Puget Sound Midwives & Birth Center newsletter is intended to serve as an opportunity for us to stay in touch with you, our past and present families, and to reach out to those who have expressed an interest in learning more about Puget Sound Midwives and Birth Center.
In the coming newsletters you will find birth stories, information about scheduled events, news about midwifery, and ideas for building the birth center community. And so, we would like to hear from you. If you have anything you would like submit for consideration or ideas for articles you would like to see, please email us at Newsletter@BirthCenter.com. We hope you enjoy it!

Village Parents: a PSMBC Community
Nadine MacLane writes: The Village Parents meet weekly at the Puget Sound Birth Center on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30. We are a support group for parents, a play group for our kids, and a babysitting coop to give ourselves some time off.
We have guest speakers monthly to address relevant topics such as: "Keeping healthy through the winter", "Baby massage", and even "529 plans and other ways to save for college".
Come join us if you have at least one child under 3. Both moms and dads are welcome. We meet in the evening to allow working parents to come too.
Call (360)-668-2665 or email Nadine for more information.
