Zoe Sahlman, Receptionist
Growing up I was never sure of what I wanted to do after I graduated. Then during my high school health class I chose to do a presentation on pregnancy and in my research on pregnancy I learned about midwives. As I researched more about midwives I knew that it was something I was deeply interested in pursuing. I was accepted into Evergreen Community College to which I was going to kick start my journey in becoming a midwife, however the world had other plans for me. My grandpa had suddenly fallen ill and I was the only one who could stay home most of the day to care for him while my mom and dad were working. So… I dropped out of college, stayed home and started working on the weekends. After my grandpa passed in December of 2024 I didn’t have the strength to go back to college so I kept working instead. In the beginning of 2025 I had started looking for a second when I stumbled upon the Puget Sound Birth Center instagram post saying that they were hiring through a mutual friend, and knew that this was a sign for me to start my journey again! Now, I am a receptionist here at PSBC and am back on track to go back to school soon. I love meeting all of the beautiful families who come through the door! When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and my sweet kitty.
I am so excited to meet you & be a part of your care team!
